Somebody stop me...

I started another novel today.

what the hell is wrong with me?

I've got this irrational fear of completing a project, methinks.

Today is the Equinox. All Hail Equo! Not really. But I did set up my altar anew for the new season, and meditated today and will perform my ritual this evening at 11:09, when the official equinox occurs.

In the mean time, I am listening to Lilith Fair 2010, and I'm diggin' it.

  1. Hoooo boy... you ready?

It's the story about identity. Life love and death. It's about what we create for ourselves as opposed to what is created for us. It's about the nature of human emotions. It's about why we are who we are.

t starts with a young woman waking in a hospital, beaten, abused, violated, and having no memory. Nobody comes forward to identify her, the police struggle with her case, and the owner of the land where her body was dumped by her attackers takes her in while she rehabilitates. It is about her struggle to figure out who she is, not who she was, but who she is now. She can't reinvent herself, and she can't build anything on her non-existent foundation of Self. She's just lost, and grasping for something in the dark, and she's floundering. She learns who she is through the people she meets within the household. Mr and Mrs. Rigby, the land owners, Mike and Kitty, their teen/grown children, and John Williams, the young man who falls in love with her- but knows nothing about her.
